I recieved one last week because I got stuck in a meeting and arrived 10 minutes late at 8.30pm into a car park that holds 300 cars with only 10 in at the time, yet the ticket guy refused to stop issuing it. I paid it the other day using 1p and 2p coins and stood for 25mins whilst the poor attendant at the council had to count it all out and queues built up. In future I suggest not bothering to park in Gateshead, or at worst if you get a fine pay it in pennies at lunch time. Your case is clearly a spineless responce from Gateshead COuncil.
